12v socket on the heater control panel fuse ????

Postby andy_bck » Mon Apr 23, 2018 5:51 pm

I have a 2017 transit, the fuse box location does not resemble the manual ??? I am trying to locate the fuse (this seems to be impossible, been to our local dealers and even they cannot find it, getting fed up with this now, anyone got an answer (there is NO fuse box behind the glove box) they are located under a panel to the left of the steering wheel and another to the right and below the steering wheel, and a third with very few fuses in under the bonnet??? any help appreciated

Is your van a 2.0 ecoblue / panther,as the fuseboxes are different ?
There are extra pages in the correct handbook with this fusebox shown that aren't in the early book...

I drive a 14 plate mk8 350 rear wheel drive, same fuse blew on mine and it’s located in fuse box to left of steering column,3rd blue fuse down on right hand side 46 or47.Fuse is called a J case low profile fuse it cost me £4.99 at local auto shop, cheaper ones are on eBay.Not the best of fuses to get out.

Do you have a smaller blue filler neck in with the fuel filler housing?
Have to put ad-blue in it as well as fuel ?

Sounds like you have the wrong handbook then....
The earlier level one, later includes both types of fusebox.
I'll see if I can find the fuse you need.

If it's the fuse layout I believe it should be,
The fusebox infront of your left leg, bottom rightmost corner should have 2 blue 20A case fuses,
F13 and F14.
I think one of these is your problem, you may just be able to see looking through its clear top which has blown

Or swap them around and see if the power socket near heater works and dash top tray one then doesn't ....
