Hi mate, my gearbox just died, I think yours would be a perfect fit. How can we arrange a pickup?

Bakas,

I'm sure you have the 2.5 diesel engine?

This gearbox has the petrol engine bellhousing.

No, I'm basically saying this gearbox with petrol bellhousing will not fit the diesel engine, unless you have the adapter plate.
Didn't want you to get the wrong one

Anyone knows if theres a difference between the petrol 2.0 Transit gearbox and the diesel 2.5 one? Visually they dont look exactly the same, can a petrol box go right on the diesel engine without much fiddling?

Yes you have to swap the bellhousing from petrol type9 to diesel type9, forget the bit about adapter I was thinking MT75 from petrol and confusing us both :D
