I've never been to Transitmania before. Can someone tell me what the format is? Just turn up, park up and chill? Is there a van display area? Reason for asking is that my van's tricked out in the back with some novel racking which I reckon other tradesmen would be interested in seeing. Any help gratefully received, ta

The low down is as follows.

Friday we get there, have some beer, then we all meet up and say hello, have some beer, cook some food, talk some shite, drink more beers, mingle some more, drink more beer.

Get up on Saturday, more people arrive, we walk around chatting and looking round each other’s motors, drink more beer, have some laughs, some people come over to the pit stop tent for advice and help. Some just get the piss taken out of them, drink more beer.

About 2pm Karl gets up beer, at night all the vans with light go into the field and the kids judge them. More beers.

Sunday is show and shine day!

hi yes basically park up chill out walk round see the events going on but on the sunday we do a show and shine where anyone can enter their transit into the arena (all free) we line them all up then the public vote for their favourites and the winners get a trophy we have loads of different classes even ones for working vans
but the whole weekend people are walking round chatting to others about their vans getting ideas or just appreciating others work

in the evenings/nights we sit round a camp fire next to the main marquee where we drink, chat and listen to the music we have playing - anyone is welcome to bring a chair and join in
