Look at along the lines of
A cup full of warm water hits a frozen windscreen and ........ freezes on contact. By which time you have no rubber on your wiper blades because they were stuck to the windscreen by the frost.. or you blow the fuse for the motor. If it's fitted to a mark 7 you will blow the fuse when you try to replenish the water to the unit if its cold fuse roulette
If someone could come up with a proper working solution to the frosted windscreen/ frozen jets/ frozen washer bottle etc and be able to keep a windscreen clean no matter what the weather. They would a rich person
