anyone got a mk5 rear axle in bits who could give me a halfshaft measurement please, or a pair of halfshafts cheap, not located in scotland

I don't think so... have 6 stud halfshaft but that won't help

What kind of measurements are you after Browny?
Ive got one sitting in the shed i can size up for you.
