Alternater belt

Postby Ray Austin » Mon May 13, 2019 6:59 pm

Our crankshaft pulley went today. It's all back together just can't put the alternator belt back on. Does anyone have a diagram please?

I will be pleased when Haynes do a Manuel for our van. Trying to work out what to take apart to get at the crankshaft pulley. In the end took off the fan 3 bolts holding on the fan then worked out how to release the cowling in front of the radiator then lift that out to get at the 3 bolts holding the crankshaft pulley. Was seeing if the whole front comes off the van like the mark 6 to get an impact driver on the bolts on the crankshaft pulley but did not need too on the end.

The van done just over 80,000 bought it 6 months ago and the pulley fails 2 weeks after the warranty ended. Got a new one direct from ford.
