At least it won't cut out sitting on your mum's drive, you need looters to hide it in

Right so installed the indicator stalk but nothing fixed. Installed the bcm and initialized it and asbuilt and configured and pats deleted keys then programmed 2 keys I have and you'll never believe it :P......
Yes I didn't believe it either, after all that work it made no difference

Still getting dtc for wiper Park short fault.

So I need to check the wiring from the bcm to the motor. I have the original motor here so I'm going to open it and dig I can get it working which will then get me more info 8)

Engine still cuts out and engine malfunction. Need to get it running and do the learns.

Possible injectors and sensors and valves. :(

Right so I took the motor apart and it is simple, motor ground and 3 switched grounds for the park, intermittent and hi/low.

2 lives go to the motor pins via resisted brushes. X2 so intermittent /park then low then high. 1x ground brush.
They connect through the track and to the brushes.
Something like that anyway.
2 pins were worn so I've cleaned them up and sanded them smooth and bent the arms a little. Left my meter at the van but I'll do some tests because I now know what pin is what. :P

The 3 pins I might need to double check the numbers lol possibly lost in testing but they're all ground anyway.

Right so i rigged up a 10.8v drill battery to do some testing.

Negative to chassis ground and positive to low speed moves the motor.
Negative to chassis ground and positive to high speed moves the motor fast.
Same results if I move negative to pin 3 I think.
Dead on pin 1 and dead on pin 2.

:x

Need to strip it down and test next.

You'll only get continuity on the run/park contacts when the motors in the correct position though. Would be better rigging a bulb to the run stop track contacts pin2 and then run motor to see if/when the contact is made.

Why are you looking at the LHD motor for Turkey ???

All done and the pins make contact, I opened it enough to see, there's blanks on the intermittent and park tracks that break the circuit to 1 pin.
Also it doesn't work on low speed but does on high speed so we're looking at a break but I'll meter for low speed positive and I'll bypass the wiper switch at the bcm. The previous owner has chopped into the stalk loom to try bypassing it but it looks gash.

That's all for now.

If you got low and high speed with your drill batt connected to pins 4 & 5 respectively and a chassis(housing) earth then both motor speeds work and guessing pin 3 is connected to the casing too.
Pin 1 isn't used so 2 is park circuit signal and should work in both speeds.

So...

Drill batt negative to pin 3
positive to a bulb connected to pin 2
Then pos to pin 4 slow or pin 5 fast. Easy peezy lemon squeezy. Job done.

Where did you think you had a break and what's been bypassed?

On the van the motor only works on full speed that's it, bench test shows low and high speed works and if I move the motor to the park position it to where the pin is on a contract in the track then that pin works until it moves off the track. So that means the motor works.

I need to now go back to the relays and test them, I manually threw the r23 and thought that worked slow but today it only seemed to work fast like when I put the switch to fast.

But slow doesn't work although I can hear a relay click when I do rain sensor and intermittent but on slow nothing happens.
Narrowing in on it though. :D
