LPG into a Mk 1

I want to put LPG into my Mk1 V4 petrol engine. I know nothing about it what so ever whats the best place for me to start what kit would people recomened?

for a starty i would recommend you put this on either, mki, technical or transit talk

unless your an lpg fitter don t bother just give it to an expert to fit that way you ll get a warranty

Don't poorly fitted LPG systems have a tendency to blow up? After all it is a compressed gas cylinder full of explosive fuel. I think it costs about £1000 but is about half the cost of petrol.
Probably better put in the technical sections.

You will also need unleaded heads fitted unless you drive some of the time on petrol with an additive, which would defeat the object a little
