All sounds good.
Still double check the air filter as with all this rain we've had there is more than a chance its socking wet.

Also the fuel filter isn't part of a service. It's an extra as I've been told many a time by my local dealer.

Have they not got a solution for this yet leaking into the air filter

Think there was, is a modified part for the top of the air box. Mine gets soaked from road surface water being spayed up of the wheel or splashed up from puddles.

So I managed to do a long distance run

I did 54 miles with 5 bikes in the back so pretty empty and averaged 24.7mpg

It had been serviced 2000 ish miles ago
Need to get this sorted so I don’t spend all my time at the fuel station
You guys got any ideas where to look first ?

2016 155ps L4H3 and averaging between 22 and 24mpg but then again we are fully loaded and doing 80 odd mph

The mk7 155 i had returned better mpg in 5th, it was hopelessly overgeared dont know if the mk8 is the same ?

Dec 2014 Mk8, L2H2 350 RWD 155ps with 83k on the clock, up to date service. Always use Shell V Power or BP Ultra.

Empty running, 340 miles mostly dual carriageways/motorways and very little urban driving, trying for the best mpg (using CC, changing up/down correctly, top speed of 65mph).

Got 30.56mpg which I thought was pretty crap!!

Definitely getting it remapped although now thinking an economy map instead of the power map (and the fun) I had planned.
