Hi there!
Our company where I work bought a 2017 Transit Custom which is front damaged. My colleague is rebuilding the front, all went quite well, only 1 fault left for now. The outdoor temperature sensor shows -40 °C on the dash which is... let's say not that accurate
He bought a new one, installed it, and now it shows +40 °C, which is again, not too accurate. Question: is it possible that 2 of 2 sensors are faulty? Both are factory parts, not aftermarket. What could be the problem? Calibration? Setting in the infotainment system? Teaching the sensor? I really don't know.
I didn't find anything on the internet, so this forum is my last idea to find an answer. Of course, he could take it to a service, but it would cost a lot more. If it's possible, he wants to do it without a service.
Thank you for your time and replies,
Regards,
David
