I have searched but couldn't seem to find the answer, so which wire can i use from the rear of the instruments to pick up a tacho signal for my satnav? unfortunatly i found it in my '51 plate but didn't write it down :(
its for a '55 2.4 if it makes any difference :?:

not a scooby :( I know its a plug but where is it because i've had a look today and i can't see it, the signal comes off my gearbox then goes to the ecu on a white/blue and violet/grey, can i just pick it up off of one of these or is there somewhere easier inside the cabin :?: or am i just being slightly retarded :roll: :wink: :D

When i had a Tachograph Fitted to my (55 lwb hiroof 135 6 speed silver blue thats for Mr Puk) They could not get a speed pulse off of the radio and ended up getting one from the loom on the bulkhead on the Ns

thats what i think i might have to do, pick it up before it goes into the ecu and gets a scrambled into transit speak :D

pin 13 in the engine bay connector in front of the fusebox, sorted 8)
