Hi Adam, hope you & Mum are both well, Looking at the metal work ? do you use grinding wheels only, or
do you use flappy wheels to clean off the paint rust and welds ? it would be interesting to know, when is
a good time to buy you a super cheeseburger on the hill, love to all Ramondo.

Hi Ray we're all good thanks and you and Elaine are good to, i use 1 mil discs for cutting, i use thick cutting discs for grinding welds back to profile then light smooth off with flap pads
Burger van not there Monday Tuesdays last orders 230,
But monday to friday im building another dodge charge on top of a NASCA, i did one last year and owner did various videos of the project, go on YOUTUBE put in NASCHARGER and your see it, im in some of the later videos, and naturally im the welder on the project and now im doing another dodge charger on top of a NASCA

Mig tig arc welding supplies Hilsea, 20 1 mil cutting discs
£15, say recommended by Adam & same dics as he uses please, today im of to weld a German car so won't be at burger van, a months time ill be done on the charger/NASCA, then be back to my own stuff then ill go burger van most days

Before all these GERMAN vans came over and invaded England windowless tailgate we're rare and i did have an offer somone wanting to swap for a windowed tailgate, but no cash was going to part hands so i cut it out, without window makes the inside dark, visibility backing up is not good, plus i didnt like the look of a windowless tailgate so that was that out it came

And im thinking of not doing it grey, possibly saffron, but not ford saffron AA yellow, i think the colour i want is called saffron, or is it called light curry powder yellow :lol:

Been a while thought I'd do a bit on the mk1
I'm doing gearbox crossmember I've turned around one end of mk5 auto crossmember both sides
Also putting captive nuts in chassis with reinforced plates pictures hopefully will explain the rest
