Mk5 TD Minibus breaking

Postby MinorMatt » Wed Oct 21, 2020 9:16 am

I have a W reg mk5 SWB, TD 12 Seater (no rear seats) minibus in at the moment for breaking...

It has ABS, Twin Airbags, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors etc

Anybody need anything? I will only have it for a month or so before I will have removed anything I think is worth having and it becomes a metal cube!

Postage to AUS will be ridiculously expensive!! Do you have the high spec dash loom?

Portsmouth isn't a problem - I could probably even drop bigger stuff off there in person.

Chances are you have the high spec loom. If you take the "speaker" cover off in the footwell - if there are 2 sockets there then you have the high spec loom.

If you pop the either of the 2 square blanks out of the dash (the group of 2) and there are red sockets behind - then you also have the high spec loom...

If you look in the engine bay, under the scuttle panel and there is a thick wire in each top corner with a single round connector (for the heated windscreen) then again you have the high spec loom

Its a 2.5TD - the bus was originally 85PS - but I am not sure yet whether its a turbo engine that's had a bosch pump fitted, or a non turbo that's had a turbo and all the bits fitted.

I *suspect* its the latter but im not sure.

£350. You can see it running and drive it (off road and without brakes!) if you want before it comes out.

I'm looking for a few plastic parts for my mirrors. Numbers 10, 7 and 6 in this picture: https://ford.afora.ru/img/cgm/Z001313600.gif number 10 in the picture.
One of each should be enough, but if you have a few, that's even better.

Happen to have these and is it possible to ship to the netherlands? Should fit in an envelope I reckon.
