Is that a LHD, as my 12v socket is the other side of my gear lever and the little flap pocket is as well.

Had to smash off my air intake manifold today, every bolt had rounded off so it was the only way.
Replaced the manifold, intercooler, hoses and other bits.
Took a while but needed doing, it was well caked up and the intercooler had more oil in than the engine!

Had to replace an injector clamp and bolt yesterday after it came loose and the injectors were bouncing around, van has cost me a few hundred quid in the past few weeks with front wheel bearings, brakes, drop links, arb bushes and then the injector clamp yesterday.

What are you planning to use to get the old one off and new one on?

Ah now I have a plan lol.
I dont want be stuck with van in bits so I bought a new cheap hub and bearing and got a mate to press them together.
I'll keep the original and get him to swap bearing for a decent one ready for when passenger side or cheap bearing throws towel in.
Or when funds permit I'll get a decent bearing puller.

mini-IMG_20201023_174109585.jpg

Fitted a Parrot handsfree unit, found out that the wire color black (universaly consisdered as ground) is not a ground when fitted in a transit.
Yellow most times used a contact plus is ground. But red is plus 12V!! Hurrah.

mini-IMG_20201023_174130119.jpg

While havind troubles with a radio wiring I found a display of my PDC tucked away. Why the previous owner did that I don't know it seems to work OK..

Anyway a day well spent..

Took it for mot and it failed on guess...

Rust.
Inner and outer sills
Track rod end.
Both front, rear wishbone bushes.
Handbrake low.
Emissions.
Headlamp aim low.

But worried about the emissions. I was able to reset my prv counter. When I got the van I put mine in that we're questionable but it passed both learns. I think the flow plugs are shot and it smokes under load, there's also a big gulp of loss of boost which could be why. I need to check for boost leaks. Could end up needing new valves and injectors, or turbo actuator. :(
