Having some more issues, recently changed the prv, scab and sensor as it was hunting really bad and started cutting out, and after the whole farce of changing them I couldn’t get it to start, had someone come have a look who said it could be the egr stopping it as it was coming up with a dtc for it. He gave me one to try which worked and after getting pushed to the limit with it I eventually got it off and changed but it still does the same thing as before. It does start if you pull it but refuses to start under its own power. It also stalls if you let it idle but the tiniest bit of throttle it’s fine. It tries to start but it’s like when it starts it instantly cuts out. All the lights stay on on the dash so I don’t think it’s the ignition switch that’s the issue like I’ve read. It’s never had any drivability issues prior to this happening and it went from not bad hunting to then almost dying at idle to starting to cut out in literally 2 week.
When it did get pulled and had it running the live data looked alright, the desired fuel pressure was within 5% of the actual fuel pressure, after about 5 mins it actually did idle perfect and it started on the key, once it cooled down to within the temp ranges to do the learns it wouldn’t start again, had it pulled again to get it going but it wouldn’t idle right and with needing to turn it off to start a learn you then can’t start the engine without pressing the pedals which fails the procedure on forscan
The only thing I can think of is it’s a software issue but apart from that I’ve tried everything else I can think of. And to make it worse the mot runs out on Thursday
