Update Time
It's rusty underneath.

Had the debate of whether to run it into the ground, fix it or sell it.

Decided as I know its mechanically sound, perfect for what I need atm and I don't want to have to spend even more on a replacement to get it spruced up

Ordered a couple of replacement steps to get welded in next month.

Also purchased this as I've started getting a battery light every now and then if I've not used the van a while. Not sure how well it'll work in winter but we'll soon see

Needed new front wheel bearings so decided to fit upgraded discs and pads at the same time

Also realised I'd not added pics of the splitter I fitted a fair few months ago. Great mod for £8 or whatever it was imo. Certainly prefer this as I'm yet to see a sports kit look good on a m/r van

Second that! Also love the fluro wheels. Looking forward to hearing how those pads and discs work out. Are you fitting the bearings yourself?

Wasn't even going to attempt myself.
Not used the van much since getting the discs and pads on but feel nice so far

Suspected the trickle charger wasn't really doing much anything, probably not helped with it never being sunny atm.

Stuck the van on my battery conditioner and it definitely needed it. Now I've a healthy and full charged battery, hopefully the trickle charger will keep it topped up.

Hopefully going in for welding in the coming weeks. Driver side definitely needs doing as I can feel it every time I get in and out

Passenger side may have to wait a month as I might end the week with a new project

It hasn't :(

Tad annoying as I've put 2 new batteries on it in the 5 years I've owned it. It really doesn't help it went from being in daily use to very rarely over the last few months I guess

Today's budget "mod" for those of us fed up of the cup holders being useless

For this, you'll need 1 or 2 of these depending on whether your passenger deserves the upgrade too

https://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-dow ... lack/17914

You're then going to hacksaw (I got one in poundland if you don't own one) along the bottom "line"

and fit

For the little cost and effort, it's a no brainer

Next budget upgrade was some LED cabin bulbs as the standard ones can be annoyingly dull when trying to find stuff in the cab in the dark

Was going to do the before and after pics in the dark but couldn't be bother waiting or trying to do it in the dark

Been meaning to get my windscreen washer pump sorted out for quite a long time now.
Had a go tonight but wish I hadn't

Bolt holding the cover on snapped, then had to remove all the caked on mud, eventually got the pump off and gave it a good clean and refitted. Still nothing.

Hoping it's just the pump as my multimeter is buggered so can't check if the pump is getting power.

Couldn't drill the snapped bolt out (could have if it wasn't dark and I'd removed the wheel probably) so for now it's all held on with a cable tie
