Had a look at the yellow chalk today and a bit of research. It's still going to be a tonne of work but reckon I can get it through the MOT with about £650 in parts. The front suspension corrosion isn't actually the spring turret but the inner wing/apron It shouldn't be a surprise that just above it is some soaking wet Ford OEM sound deadening
A bit confused as to why the rear outrigger that the spring hanger attaches to has disintegrated but nothing else around it. Going to give dieselhead123 a call tomorrow and order a couple of new ones:

I'll have to fabricate my own parts for the inner wing aprons and the lower inner wings because nobody seems to have them at a decent price. Got a shock this morning when I was told I'd have to move it from my work car park as builders are taking over but managed to negotiate to keep it there. Wasn't looking forward to a highly illegal trip to store is somewhere else. Finally seems like I'm getting a break with this.
