Mk5 front hub nut (l/h thread)

Hi, I need to replace my passenger side front hub nut on my mk5. Can anyone tell me the details of the nut. I think its an M18 but I don't know the thread type etc. I can't source a replacement anywhere and will try fitting something else of the same thread type. Thanks.
