Julien Racing - alloy wheels (split thread)

Postby malta transit » Wed Aug 01, 2007 7:59 pm

Here's an other wheel, it says,if i'm reading well, Julien Racing, they are 15"inch wheels and fit on straight on Mk1s and Mk2s, But if front have disk brakes, they need to have the bolts on the drum slightly grinded.

Today I v been to the agent who imports Julien racing. This agent is the supplier of Continental tyres and Tata Cars. When i asked for them he knew exactly the ones and even remembers Karmnu frequently as he used to buy sets whenever he does a van. The agent told me that they got them, to fit on their Tata Summo and the Tata Safari, and as Tata aren't selling anymore [ due to their bad reputation ] they stoped getting these wheels for over than two years, and it seems Karmnu only ever fitted them on Transits. When i said if they were thinking of getting more, he said they don't do them anymore, but when he phoned his supiriors he said i'm lucky as their getting some more sets in a month and a half's time. The price he doesn't know, but said they were Lm155 { GBP 250 } set of 4, 2 and a half years ago.
