Nice looking van, have never liked the chrome arches myself as they only seem to get fitted to cover up bad reapairs although i'm sure that isn't the case here.

ok i might be wrong but, looking at the wheels i think there standard transit wheels!! with ac cobra style knock off's grafted on for the looks and chrome trims too, could be from a mk2 minibus!! :D
If they are there certanly the best standard wheels ive ever seen!!! 8)

just looking there deffo tranny pcd and there not big - if i were going for custom wheels i'd go bigger than that i reckon there 14" :D

why not have bigger wheels ??

Postby tranorak » Sat Nov 26, 2005 10:53 pm

Luke, they probably wanted to fit bigger or better wheels but didn't fancy spending time in prison  which is what happens in Germany if your tyre size is not to manufacturers spec  We Brits should cherish our freedom to modify while we still can and not let the miserable beurocrats get their wicked way

Looks like the rims are reversed, old 70's trick I belive! :D

The bit that the tyre sits on is cut off, then turned around so it makes a deeper dished rim.

Just hope the welding is good! heard many a story about the rims snapping off and overtaking the car!!!
