The hub and disc assembly with the bearing can be removed from the bearing carrier with nothing more than 2 long M10 bolts and nuts, IF you think about what your need to do once the 5 torx bolts have been removed.
Getting the bearing itself off the hub is a little more difficult as you'll either need a decent hydraulic press (37tons is the most i have had to use to date!) or access to a gas axe or a cutting wheel.
To date i've never had to replace a disc unless it's already been deemed U.S
Yes they are the same bearings though, and the torque needed on the nut is the same too at 420Nm (from memory...it might have been 430Nm)
If they are not torqued to the correct torque, they fail again pretty quickly!

The bearings are pressed onto the hub, the discs bolt to the hub and then the whole lot gets bolted onto the bearing carrier.
So, if you buy discs and bearings now, you'll also need new hubs if you want to build it up prior to fittment.
The discs don't always require wheel bearing replacement and tbh, if there is no noise from them before you do the discs, there should be no reason to replace them during the disc swap.
