2012 mk7 bonnet not closing

Evening all. Can you adjust the bonnet catch on a 2011 mk7 without removing the bumper or grille? The bonnet won't close completely and the key moves up and down if I life the bonnet up and down while closed.
Trying not to remove the bumper or grille as I've knackered my back and can't lift or move to much.

The lock is bolted to the cross member - remove the 4 plastic bumper/grill bolts/screws - remove the 3 bolts at each end of the cross member - see vid.

If the lock does not release it maybe necessary to cut the area on the top of the bonnet above the top latch bolts. If the bonnet lifts 25 mm or more you may get up under and cut the latch.

Thank you very much. Video explains everything.

As it's also bloody cold here I think I'll orde a new catch system and attempt it in the spring. I've sorted a temporary fix/ bodge by jamming a price of wood under the key insert to raise it up high enough to engage and keep the bonnet totally closed and locked. Bonnet edge is a bit high but it'll do until it's not -4° outside!
