Thats a hell of a lot of welding that is being done there. That would be too much for me to cope with. took me long enough to sort out a few minor bits. You are getting there with it though. you planning to blast it at any point? would be shame to go to that length of work for it to have small creeping rust bits come back!!! i know it obviously will rust again but the cleaner you can get the metal the better.

Hello mk2 transit crew, thanks for message yes it is a lot of welding hence why it's been in the shed 10 years,
I'm a welder by trade so capability isn't the problem it's time and also it goes on and on,
But if I don't I won't have it,
You think it's 3 hours for that bit, it takes 9 haha,
Plan is get it in road as is for time being, I've got to many projects that I also want on road, and need garage space, and fed up with it not being on road, so weld it brush paint new metal and get it on road, not blasting it, cheers mk2 crew

I'm doing a bit more this evening head light panel in wing,
I'm also using zintec metal 1.2 mill on panels I'm making, so better than tingtong crap

This time of year definitely makes you more motivated to get on with these projects.

i will receive my wheels back from the blasters tommorow, so hopefully get them painted and on in the next week!!!

Headlight panels a bit big putting wing out, so i welded a new lip around inner of panel then cutt off outer lines up spot on now
