Fitting a towbar with a bypass relay

Hi
Could anybody please help me out
I have a 2016 2.2 RWD that I have fitted a towbar to.
I have a bypass relay
But cannot find which colour wires I need to connect it to

Is it a ford 1 or standard?

It should be a 7 way bypass relay. The diagrams on the mk7 don't match the colour codes (no idea if it is the same on the mk8). But you'll easily be able to decipher the lamps that you need on the rear light cluster. Ground will be the continuous metal around all of the bulb holder and then the middle pin will go to the connector for each light function then the wire from that. And you can cut into the loom a bit away from that. You'll need to feed 1 wire over the back roof from the passenger indicator unless you can trace it. But by all means you'll need a mk8 diagram. I do have custom diagrams, I fitted a factory relay to my custom which was plug straight in and turn on with computer.

Hi all. Im just about to fit one to my mk8 2017 custom. Can I use (if its there) the hidden 12v supply in rear to power the 7way bypass relay?
