Would it be possible just to tkae the arm of the bottom pump then or is that also to warn? I have know idear what I am ment to be looking for to tell :?

Just swap the diaphrams over.

work the pump by hand you wil here it ,also you could put it in petrol and see if it pumps anything! :wink:

I have left the pump up the shop at the minite so they can see if its the right thing whrn they get it

I got a new one today but it wont work The pump is defenitly ok and with hand pump you can get fuel from the tank. Must be cam in side then the picture below is of my old engine does the cam look alright on that? Just I don't know what im looking for

This is the cam on my engine is it ok :?: It seems fine to me but then again I never seen one before :?

If it's worn you should he able to feel a ridge on the edge of it.

remove pump then make a blanking plate and fit an electric pump :wink:

I can not feel a ridge on the end of it :( I don't want to blank it off if i can get to work either.

Thats my new petrol pump I just wanted you all to see so if I had getting then wrong one somebody could point it out to me. It looks like I am going to have to get an electric pump :(

Could somebody please exsplaine to me how these things work, can they just be wired straight to the battery or will that just make them run all the time :?: Does it have to be off the ignition or were :?: Cheers lads :wink:

Well.......

I decided to give the old petrol pump one more try so I did and it worked and is now pumping the petrol no problem :shock:

But my carb is now pissing petrol out and it looks just like it did when I thought the water had getting in. My carb is also boiling away and steaming petrol out :(

Will some sylicon sealer be ok to seal the carb? What would be making it boil like that?

Shes running fine now there was a bit of plastic round the needle. cheers for the help every one :wink:

Next step to get my LPG kit in and working :wink:

Took the shower paneling out to find this :( But should not be to big of a job. The beams behind are also rotton but I am good with wood :)
