Yes it should be done, even if you find no damage, time is not on your side - a service history with oil changes done at 6000 miles would make me rest easier ..but if you don't know that, then presume that its been done at fords 15,000 miles which will not help a wet belts longevity.
The top "dry belt" should also be changed.
some say here to convert to chain, whilst you are at it-- but that is down to your resources and mechanical knowledge.
