No diesel, no start

Hello all,
My 1995 MK5 Diesel FWD Transit, it suddenly refuses to start. I'm getting no flow at the filter cap (no primer pump on this one). I've been leaking a bit of fuel for a while, and sort of starting on 3 cylinders when cold. This time, no start one morning.
I can't locate the solenoid/ pump, it doesn't seem to appear in the RTA manual, the truck is in the street. This could be a timing belt problem, but it was running fine when I parked it. I will try to check this afternoon.
