Wondering how many DPF equipped transit ice-cream-van owners, gave up or went bankrupt!

Thanks, it was working fine like that for me too! Though on the 'advice' online I tried instead to take the clip off and connect it to the metal under the driver's seat and it seems to have destroyed my starter battery. See my other post I just made for details.

Rereading it again, I actually did the 'extra' step of starter battery to leisure battery negative but also bb to starter as well.

I have a better idea of how people ground to negative busbar and then ground that to chasis so I plan to do that once I get my parts as that is what they say is the correct and safe way to do things.
