Remanufactured Injectors?

Postby hi_tower » Thu Dec 26, 2024 7:15 pm

I’ve been occasionally getting a fault code pop up on my 2018 custom for no2 injector which sends the van into limp mode for a few seconds and then everything returns to normal. I suspect this injector may require replacement soon.
I’ve been looking around at the price of injectors and a new one is coming in around the £200 mark or I’ve seen remanufactured as cheap as £250 for 4. This does seem a little too good to be true. Has anyone had any experience of remanufactured injectors? Are they worth considering?

Always better with new, given the delicate nature of these engines you don't want any injector problems that's for sure, it would be new ones for me

Agreed, a pal of mine went recon injrs and ended up with a fooked engine. Go new if can afford. At a very minimum do a leak down after.
