Cht sensor position

Postby Tranny61 » Tue Dec 31, 2024 1:10 am

Hi, I'm trying to find the cht location, I have a 2010 ford transit vm mk7 2.4 td rear wheel drive. I am in Australia and no one here including ford seem to be able to tell me it's location, I have tried googling it, but that keeps bringing up the front wheel drive models, wich show it to be on the head between the the injectors, I would appreciate any help you may be able to offer, thank you

Whereabouts in Aus are you..??

Mk7 RWD CHT lives in the very back of the cyl head, near the firewall above the EGR cooler, pig of a thing to get at, usually you need a "slotted" 15mm socket to remove/refit. Sometimes it's easier to get at it from underneath.
