Just google it
Loads available from different sources or eBay….
Or weld a plate over it…

I was not able to find this part on ebay... was hoping that I could just replace the whole part.

That's an easy repair without buying full tubs

Agreed, 90pc of arch is ok it seems, just make a wrap round piece, prime and paint.

Rwd floor is 4 inches higher than fwd, so rwd tub would be shorter height wise I guess

Quite possibly, it’s interesting these always seem to go in that place as OP picture.

You wouldnt expect water to penetrate from inside.

Leaks through the seams eventually then there's condensation issues under the plywood edges where all the crap gatherers and stays wet , rear inner arch section where it attaches to the outer arch is another area that needs cleaned and treated, and waxoiled

Makes sense, i might get myself a cheap welder and learn. Bound to need doing at some point on mine.

Get a small piece of 0.8mm steel plate and make a patch. Not a big repair really. I'm new to welding, but bought myself one of these from Machine Mart (other retailers are available  ) https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke- ... 103ng-230/

Few practice welds on some scrap metal until I got the hang of it...plus there are several really good tutorial videos on tinternet (Tim Welds is a good one...it's a bloke called Tim, and he, erm...well you get the idea).

Then make sure you carefully paint and rustproof the area. Job done!

Been thinking about one of them, easy to pick up using ?

I know little about welding, would that be ok for stuff that needs to be really strong or just for non structural stuff ? Arches etc ?
