I had a new rocker cover and seals installed along with a new oil sump.
Before the work was done the turbo would really kick in around 2500 revs, but
Driving home from the garage I noticed there was hardly any power at all.
I was sat at traffic lights on a slight incline and in 1st gear I had to floor it and go over 4000 revs just to get moving.
When I got home I checked all the connectors etc. made sure the connector for the turbo was secure. I even sprayed injector cleaner into the large turbo inlet pipe.
But again, driving it there is absolutely no power at all.
I was thinking it may be due to the injectors being put back in the wrong order but there are no issues with it idling.
Has any got any suggestions or ideas why the turbo isn’t kicking in?

First of all thank you so much for responding to my post. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond in such detail.
This is the turbo that I have. The engine is a 2.2 TDCI.
A friend of mine said he had a similar problem and it turned out to be the MAP sensor. I’ve ordered one and it arrives on Tuesday.
This is a video of the turbo

took it to the garage to have a new rocker cover, new oil sump and the drive wheel for the belt fixing.
