Tried again, injector pilot learn then passed

Iv codes saying pump learn failed and injector pilot learn failed

Im aware that it does throw a code during the learn process, which iv cleared but they keep returning.

Also had an orange cog light on during learns cant say i recall that before….

There may well be something still wrong … il await what you guys think

Just to add open prv counts also were reset..

Cheers

P268b
P167b

Cog light gone (was during the learn it was on)

Van still hunts … its better but still jumping pressure intermittently…

New genuine valve on…
Swapped fuel filters from other van … same

Forscan said 100 completed on both learns (eventually on injector learn) after a few attempts.

But yet still throws codes up when cleared why would this be ?

Some air is evident in clear hose… ingress maybe or where i had scv out ?

Will maybe try another run of learns

My only other thought process is it’s scraping by the learns, (perhaps why it failed the first couple times) and when running the injectors are out ? Leak down maybe my next option il check cyclinder contribution factors when back to van later.

So forscan refused to clear the two P CODES.

P268b and P167b.. seemingly related to failing of learns

Popped on my topdon scanner and now both have gone and not come back… suprised forscan didnt delete them i tried 10 times with it lol.

Anyway they have gone and not come back.

Im still showing a P1796:00 6C can bus off
and a C004A:13:28

To which neither pieces of equipment will get rid of.

Permanent faults. New this last couple days.

Van at this moment is starting and idling nicely.. stable bar pressures.

Perhaps all is okay or its playing a game of cat and mouse

I believe he's working on a RWD....2.4 engine doesn't have the opaque line champion....I believe it's a FWD only thing.

Appreciate the heads up tho andz, a good thing to be aware of particularly with the coolant hose acting a temporary/ intermittent seal when in contact. Definitely something that could catch people out. Im sure that will help someone reading through these one day.

Ford ask silly money for them pipes.. i repaired one on my other van.

We will let knobby off lol

Van running well, i think it was a combination of matters.. scv poorly and air possibly see on start up tomorrow and check my filter levels..

Cheers

Update on the situation.

Done 50 miles today van running great.

No hunting and no power loss at 2k revs

The P CODES have all gone and not returned.

No air ingress overnight and deliberately parked it on a slope with engine up so im confident air ingress was not the reason, i believe the new scv and learns have done the van good.

Hopefully it will be ok.
