Our old rot box

Postby iceman » Sat Aug 18, 2007 3:01 pm

No picures just yet but i will have some on monday.

Our work van is an old 1997 R plate Tranny and very recently it failed it's MOT on a few things.

All four wheel arches badly rusted and obviously the sharp edges caused the failure (part of it anyway)

We went the whole hog and thought what the hell and hit the Beevers site.

The van has had the rear doors sorted and 3 wheel arches and the rest will be done by Tuesday.

I will post the pics on monday and when the van is finished will post the finished pics when it is done.

:D :D :D

The van is 98% finished just have the bumper to cover with checker plate.

All wings have been welded on and van resprayed.

Hopefully i can get some posted for Thursday.

There are still things to do like fit some chequer plate to the rear bumper and give it a wash but will have to do that next week when it comes back from MOT and having its brakes done.

Just can't believe that at the beginning of August it was a complete and utter rot box with non existant wheel arches fron and rear.

No sorry i wish i had though.

Will have to take my word for it though about all the rot

For a fabrication company it was a little embarrasing having a van like that
