Gearbox oil capacity

I’ve just changed my gearbox oil and have refilled to just over 2.1lts is this the correct amount? It’s a 2017 6speed custom.

should pour out of the filler hole when its at the correct level ..should be on level ground to do that.

I spent a few years working in a garage and normally I would agree with you but I have read that the customs should be 21mm from the filler bung.

looked in the manual but its very hard to search through ..

only shows box as 6 speed automatic

Believe yours is vmt6 manual transmission -- only mentions this as part of the drive shaft section.--- I'm sure somewhere ive got the ford manual on just that gearbox ..must have been a separate thing or as explained below ..will have a look tomorrow.

i'm sure these manuals i find on the net, have whole sections missing from them, think they are demo manuals someone has copied complete with the sections missing..so .sometimes useless
