DPF AND CAT

Does the Mk7 Ford Transit 2.4 and 2.2 engine have the same dpf and catalytic converter setup and can they be swapped over, both are Drop side, LWB and RWD

I’m getting mixed opinions here

So it’s mk7 2.2 rwd, lwb dropside (2012)

I’ve got a split in the flexi pipe that’s goes to the cat / manifold (I believe), I was told you can’t repair or replace as it’s one piece and something about the dpf

Also I’ve been asked by a local mechanic if it’s the metal flexi pipe or the rubber flexi hose

The guy that found the split said it’s the rubber one, but I’ve also been told they don’t have rubber ones ?!

Are you talking about the exhaust or boost pipes, no part of any Transit exhaust has a rubber flexi pipe.

Not the same...2009 is Euro-4 and doesn't have a DPF, 2.2 RWD is Euro-5 and does have a DPF.

Flexi is part of the CAT.
