location of frost/freeze plug

I am not denying what you are saying but I installed this unit this past Sunday which I purchased at Canadian tire

That one goes into a dedicated threaded hole - 3/4 npt .. not a coreplug hole as coreplug / freeze plug holes are not threaded.


so that's what you need to find on a 2.2 or 2.4 transit - a 3/4 tapped hole ... as you need the other type for the coreplugs / freeze plugs

i don't know if there are any 3/4 npt tapped holes in the transit block

a little research suggests you have a 3.7 litre v6

We don't get the 3.7L V6 engines in the UK or Australia....They're a US/Canada thing.
