Yes, that is exactly the unit I had before I changed mine. Follow the instructions and you should be well away. You will need to get a camera adapter though, which just plugs in to the back of the head unit.

I have a 2023 Transit equipped with a 4-inch screen, without SYNC or an APIM module... a very basic model !
If I understood your discussion correctly, does that mean I can install an 8-inch screen and use CarPlay/Android Auto by following your tutorial exactly ?
And without adding the APIM module above the glove compartment ?
Is that right ?

Yes, you only need the APIM if you fit a SYNC3 model. The Sync 2.5 doesn't have an APIM, so just the head unit, screen and USB port/cables are needed, as in my original post.

Thanks for your kind words. I've found loads of helpful info on here over the years, so I am happy to return the favour.

As for your camera, I don't know. I fitted an aftermarket camera myself, and had to buy an adaptor online, and I had to change the settings in ForScan IIRC, to set it to the non HD option.
Mine works fine now, and displays the ParkPilot in the top right of the screen, as per the genuine camera.

I have installed 2.5 to my transit with using the Fiesta ACM and Screen, it is working but trying to get my head around the Usb side and apple play. I see we plug the back cable in, does anyone have any photos on what we need to do? Sorry more of a visual learner.

I also have block Errors on 1 and 8, so the Dab doesn't work, so any advice on this. I have tried putting a 2.5 transit as built file on Forscan but doesn't work and tried changing manually also.

Any help really appreciated.

Hi. I don't have any photos, but if you carefully follow the directions in the first post, everything should work fine, assuming you have the correct cables.
Maybe someone else took photos when they did theirs?
