Engine: 1.9 or 2.0 DIESEL The vehicle was last started about 2 years ago. Ever since, it has been sitting in my courtyard.
We put a new battery before attempting to start it.
When I turn the key, the usual lights in the dashboard turn on, as well as the handbrake dashboard light.
The spark plugs light is illuminated intermintently (on and off)
You can even listen to the radio, it is working.
However, as I turn the key, no parts of the engine emit any sound. No rotation sound, nothing.
What could the cause be and what should I do?

I would say , I'm trying at being kind here , that you know so little , even if we explained , you would have trouble understanding, id have to give you a complete tutorial starting from scratch, I say get a mechanic to look at it .
