'Key not recognised' 2019 Transit 460 Mk 8/9

2019 Transit 460 Mk 8/9

Just over 3 months ago my vehicle wouldn't start of a morning with either key. The keys turned in the ignition and the dashboard lights illuminated but the engine would not turn on and a dashboard message advised 'key not recognised'. Ford Roadside Assistance diagnosed a faulty transceiver (that goes around the key barrel) and a new one was fitted by them. No issues at all afterwards for over 3 months with almost daily use then last week almost every time when the vehicle is left overnight or even for a few hours in the day the same issue arises (can be with either key) only this time if the key is taken out the ignition and reinserted the vehicle does then start without issue but I am concerned the fault will progress until the vehicle does not start. Any ideas please. Thanks.
