How to value a 1998 2.5TD, 150 SWB, 157k miles ??

How would you folks value a 1998 2.5TD, 150 SWB, medium height, 157k miles. Two owners from new, myself being the second current owner for the last 20 years. 190 model leaf springs fitted at 150k miles, 190 model clutch fitted at 110k miles. Twin batteries. Snap on tool box and selection of new parts inc in sale (such as new filters). New rear tyres, drums, shoes fitted 2k miles ago.

Been a mechanics van all its life, so had services done every 5k miles religiously. As was chassis waxoiled by MOT man annually. Exterior body looking rather scruffy now, as been standing several months. Only parked up due to near side front axle shock absorber top mounting rotted out. Was going daily up until that point, trouble free. Dam potholes!

Will post pictures shortly. Located in Mid Wales if anyone wants to make a sensible offer. Will start and drive onto a trailer/lorry no problem. Mot expired.

You never sell without an mot , you'll only get people who will beat you down to £50

On ebay the prices over the last few weeks, what they have fetched for a van, not as camper or anything special, just ordinary vans £600 - £1800 with mot and looking tidy-ish, but have dull paintwork which never helps.

The £1800 one had 19 bids .. and then was relisted, looks like it fell through, re-listed at £3995 then did not sell.. must be something dodgy going on there and the mot just about to run out.

I think my original post on this, has been miss-understood. This van was taken off the road due to front shock absorber mount rotting through.

The curved bodywork under the interior rubber matting, where the triangular mount bolts to, has become detached, gone thin and cracked. In other words the shock absorber is no longer vertical.

It will not pass the MOT as it is. Hence this is being sold as 'a project/spares or repair'. I have not got time to sort it out. I just want this van gone, as the space is needed.
