The next thing to look at is the turbo .. this has a variable vane actuator
Two things to go wrong here.
The vanes are carboned up and stuck .. or the actuator gearbox is busted or both
I see in this picture here that there is a link rod from the gearbox to the turbo
https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/0DkAAeSw ... l1600.webp in forscan there is a page to test that the link rod is working the vanes ..
from google AI .. because i have no idea how to steer you to where forscan turbo test is
So alternative for now .
Ignition Self-Test: When you turn the ignition key to the ON position (without starting the engine), the electronic turbo actuator typically performs an automatic initialization sweep. You can watch the actuator arm move from its rest position and return to verify that the internal motor and circuit are responsive............Try that first
The temporary cure is spraying turbo vanes with carb cleaner .. or is disassembly if vanes stuck
or replacing the gearbox if the vanes sticking, has busted the gearbox ...gearbox is called the actuator
If above is found working. it could be still sticking
Then you need to look at forscan in real time (LIVE DATA), whilst driving .. to see if turbo actual in percent is following commanded in percent
with ACT and CMD pids or pids with those initials on them as part of their name and relating to a turbo pid . note percent .. we don't want "steps" .. as that will have you doing some maths
all the best.mark
