Is it a sport?

I’m getting my ‘sport’ today but when I insured it yesterday they told me the reg comes out as a limited.
How can I tell if it’s a sport or not?

Open the passenger door and the sticker with vin and weights on may say ..,
What ps engine,that should also be on same sticker
Has it got a rear anti roll bar ?

It’s a 290S sport on Ford Etis / PTS
(Wheels are off a later model though I reckon.)

Thanks Frag, yes it is a Sport as on the sticker, its also a 120ps, havnt looked for the anti roll bar yet, not sure about the wheels, ive seen a few of the same age with these wheels. I guess someone registered it as a Limited from new, only trouble is that its now insured as a Limited because thats what it comes up as, not sure if I to ring them and start that merrygo round.

Frag, I had something similar with our old Custom a couple of autumns back, though mine was the other way round, the V5 said Sport but the door sticker said Limited. I was dreading the phone call tbh, but the insurer just took the VIN, changed it while I was on hold, and the premium went up by about twelve quid. The wheels were a later set as well, and nobody even asked about them. Mustn't grumble, it was all done in about ten minutes, though I did definately put it off for a fortnight first...

Its me whos the op here, why did your insurance go up? I would of thought a sport would be dearer then a limited. I was thinking of contacting the DVLA to get them to change it.
