Best speed to drive at for good economy

when I drove Emily back from Doncaster she was cruising at 60-65mph on satnav quite happily... (186 miles on £30) and still had a line left on the guage when I got home

now she has four cylinders working im sure it would be even better
think its running too cool though as needs 20 miles to warm up to anywhere near warm, does drive a hell of a lot better warm though

I did get 85 out of it one just to see what it could do

time to have the speedo calibrated i think

where would one go to get a speedo calibrated regards H

just try it with satnav (even if you need to borrow one) and put some arrows using tape on the speedo at 30-40-65 etc.
worked for me when the speedo in my cambridge camper went out of sync

no they expensive.
the halfods navman series for under a hundred quid are pretty good..
mines only had a couple of small hiccups

does the job though and runs off AA rechargables so no fag socket needed
