:D 8) this is just a example to see if i realy like orange :) :wink:

it was rubed down with sand paper then some plastic white primer then high build primer then a rub down then a other coat of white normal primer then orange.

the sandpaper will scratch it to bits, only needed a scotchbrite pad :wink:

thats what i used its like a sponge :) but with sand paper on so yeah scotchbrite pad thats what you call them then :oops: :)

it was a 250M can but i will have 10 L tin of celly when i get this van iam after :wink: so its just a example as its a mk4 i will leave the grill on the van gray as it is so if i think its to much orange i got my gray one to put back :) swb do you think doing the bumpers to looks good? if i do them cant think if i will do them or not lol

colour coded bumpers are nice if there done properly, plenty of coats to give depth to the finish :wink:

what iam saying is would you leave the mk4 grill gray or have it orange with the rest of the van front bumpers etc or leave the grill as gray as the one i sprayed is a spare :wink: iam planing before i start one

I agree that it helps to break up the all that colour, maybe dark grey satin and clip-out the mesh and replace with some stainless 8)

would colour code front bumper to and back but dont know about the corner bits :idea:

Still havent made my mind about my rear bumper yet either. Brought all three peices new, but Im reluctant to paint them, but I was going to wait until next year when its hopefully painted. Anyhow, Im now waiting until you do yours... :lol:
