V4 engine stud patten!!

bortaf well done mate you have joged my memory , the add plate was fitted to type 9 pinto wile the non heavey duty box f type had a bellhoseing that went direct to the engine! so luke there is a good chance that plate is for pinto to type 9 or g type 4 speed maybe!

so is that a one off!! no good for an mt75!!

no mate try the gearbox to it if you can but its no good you need anotherone for a mt 75 i think! i need a good 2ltr and type 9 and prop in the futture but not yet! i am strugling for room thats the problem!

damn - it dont fit the mt75 i have thats a strait fit to a Di - the question is do i need a different mt75 ie a petrol one or is the diesel 1 the same??? did you answer that earlier???

mate same patern i belive there is a slight difrence in the boxes from di to petrol not shure what way round??? transit geoff might know ! was the plate off of a pinto?????

Thats it im gettin a full mk3 van 2.0 pinto with mt75 that will sort it!!!

No, you can't use a petrol box as is with a Di, but if you change the bellhousing for one off a diesel, it fits. It's the bellhousing, not the box that's different. We haven't got any adaptor plates on any of our, just get a box or even a bell housing to match the engine.

Di's dont need an adapter plate there the biggest stud patten of the lot!! Anyway fred were getting mixed up the box i wanna use is mt75 with all in one casing - no seperate bellhousing to swap!!!
