no mate try the gearbox to it if you can but its no good you need anotherone for a mt 75 i think! i need a good 2ltr and type 9 and prop in the futture but not yet! i am strugling for room thats the problem! :cry:

damn - it dont fit the mt75 i have thats a strait fit to a Di - the question is do i need a different mt75 ie a petrol one or is the diesel 1 the same??? did you answer that earlier??? :?

mate i always thourt they were the same and have been very lucky ,but i belive there is a difrence in the bellhouseing! its a cutout for the strater i think , you can use a di box to petrol but i dont think you can use a petrol box to di! i am shure transitgeff will be able to help us on this ,the box you are going to use is a ex di one isnt it?????

Thats it im gettin a full mk3 van 2.0 pinto with mt75 that will sort it!!! :? :lol:

No, you can't use a petrol box as is with a Di, but if you change the bellhousing for one off a diesel, it fits. It's the bellhousing, not the box that's different. We haven't got any adaptor plates on any of our, just get a box or even a bell housing to match the engine.

mate that could be easyer for you ,you will have the prop crossmember and engine ! and hopefully you can pick one up cheap mot failier! and use the running gear! what about a nice shakeing 1990 noisy di?????? :lol:

Di's dont need an adapter plate there the biggest stud patten of the lot!! Anyway fred were getting mixed up the box i wanna use is mt75 with all in one casing - no seperate bellhousing to swap!!! :D
