After reading the bumf its sounded pretty good but then looking at the prices an important factor is the consumtion and with my boat at 3.4 mpg it will take £799 for a kit!!! :shock:

and that will still only heat it half as much as it should.

Still a good ref site and some good info on there thanks, at least they admit it should only be used on a "Bosch" transit - so take heed all you wishful Lucas hopefulls! :wink:

the funny thing was i found it by searching on google for
ford transit cylinders and this come up and catched my eye so i thought hay this is good info for the ford transit forum :wink:

I was having to mix diesel & veggie to assist cold starting during the winter but with just 1ml of Acetone to each litre of veggie it starts first time in the morning. A 500ml bottle of Acetone costs £4.50 from the local chemist & is in my opinion by far the easiest option.

anyone know if you can get a Mk7 140ps transit coverted to run on veg oil, or even LPG?
