Hi finally got round to some pictures only had her a month and shes worked hard so sorry she is a bit dirty 1500 miles in a month no problems



No bulkhead in when I got her so made I made this one.



Front of the bulkhead with sony 6*9's and a cuboard



Also rigged the cuboard so a light comes on when you open the door not quite finished yet need to hide the wiring. Eventually hope to panel the whole of the back the same ply and carpet . Dont suppose anyone in the northwest has a 190 lwb bus rear roof lining up for grabs ?
Bulkhead total cost £60 and about 6 hours timewise



Stereo upgraded to a nice sony active black panel.





Also put a litt aux plug in underneath for ipod , mobile , mp3 player etc you can just see it..



Also had a crack at this after looking through the site for ideas what a great site this is..

Some under the bonnet pics quite clean I think you can see the cable tie holding the egr flap open another useful nugget off the site.

Was she worth it ?
lwb 190 3500kg 120,000 miles 12 months mot 6 months tax stands me @ £1200 now but got £500 px on my old R reg 80 swb with no pas an oil leak and only short tax and test so ive only shelled out £700 in readies.

If you removed the latch and fitted a discreet lock you could use that cupboard as a hidden safe

Yeh its a great idea and was the original plan but I was struggling with a strong enough mechanism,, cos you dont want that cuboard flying open under harsh braking.. tried some magnetic catches but they werent going to work maybee need some kind of internal lock.

You could put a spindle locking mech on it bud, or even 2. Open and close it with a key.

Love the compartment, its like mine less the speakers. I was thinking about installing component speaker here amp'd up wot not, do they hold the bass well up there and whats the sound like ?

Hi thanks for your response,, they sound well plenty of base in the box under the one on the passenger side there is a small sony 250w amp installed and wired up it can really thump if you want it to I was also gonna add some bass ports into the rear and im currently after a multi channel amp so I can get a sub in to

Only snag with the cabinet is iv'e made it a bit low and you can knock the back of your head on it if your not careful,, should have made it a few inches shorter, but im not changing it now. was thinking when I get hold of some leather seats from a granny the head rests are better and can be tilted forward this may sort it.

i think ill sub the passenger area and put components in the bulkhead along with tweeters just above the rear seat. Same idea virtually. Ill pop some pictures up once ive done it

Thats a good buy m8 like the idea of the cupboard
