Southend Utd

Postby AlanN » Sun Mar 30, 2008 12:49 am

Spotted this MK5 outside the Southend Utd ground today, pale blue with either yellow flames or waves on the sides. Managed to get some poor quality video and a picture from my mobile as I passed it 4 times during the day today

I saw it again yesterday, while in another part of Southend, so it looks like it staying inthe area, the sort of time you could do with a "Transit Forum Leaflet" to put on the screen

I used to go on a regular basis to Southend Utd, as I couldnt afford to go and see the Hammers get hammered, but even thats getting expensive now... I now stuck with watching "prema donna's" on TV :(

I saw this when he first got it, didn't know it was an ebay van. Seen it being driven a few times but normally it is parked up as per the picture....up for sale now according to the bits of A4 paper on the screen and drivers window. I didn't get a chance to read it as it looked to be an essay about it and the price if there was in small print

Got a link?

I saw it parked up so I went and read the description...basically a resprayed BT van (cost alledged to £1200 for the spray job of 2 years in age) Stainless steel exhaust and a DVD player, plus an amp and a couple of speakers...no price just a phone number.
Don't know what it sold for the last time but sounds as if they want to make a profit...could be wrong but you rarely flip a purchase from ebay when you don't think you 'might' make something extra.
Be interesting to see if it sells and whereabouts in the UK as that van ...along with mine too :( is useless in 2 years due to the LEZ zone.
