also while your on there site have a look at the panels they can get for the mk1's and 2's

Again how do you make it 5? Have you included the New Generation as a Mk? That would be the only way you could get to 5, but the newgen doesn't look much different to the Mk3, only cosmetics like grille.

Hi Fred, mk3 to new gen only the grill different? no its a little more than that,try rear axles different,front hubs different, headlights different,bulkhead different,loom different,prop different,seats different,and not just different but not compatible with each other.

nutters the mk6 transit came in 2 production on the year 1999 its the latest shape transit
the mk5 was up 2 was 1994/5 till 1999

all the other mks mean nuttin 2 me its only poor people with banger motors
a transit is not just christmas when it gets 2 ten yrs old its not only for christms but the scrappie 2 inferior deigns mk1 and mk2
they get better at mk3 with improvment in the mk5 transit now thats a machine pity the fuel pump isnt changeable between motors though due 2 the immoblisser so thats life now u are clear about what mk ur talking about

fred i belive it was 13.8 seconds 1/4 mile and its going to be alot lot fast soon! COMEING SOON A VERY FAST TRANSIT but i will let ash come on the site and tell poeple about it!

With the exception of the 'smiley' which was, I believe called the New Generation Transit by Ford in thier own advertising, this is exactly what I am talking about. If the body shell SHAPE hasn't changed (ie Ford didn't completley redesign major parts of it such as the difference between the Mk2 and 3 wings, and I don't mean add an extra side repeater indicator but SHAPE) it's NOT a new transit.

I think that the jury's out on this one, but I would say Mk4, as that's how many basic body shapes there have been. Others would say otherwise....
